The AchieVer
iPhone 11 Leak Points to New Camera Design on the Back, Major Battery Upgrade Some say it’s way too early to discuss about the changes coming to the iPhone lineup this September, but leaks keep coming, and they provide us with a closer look at lots of upgrades proposed for Apple’s flagship product. The latest prototype making the rounds points to a triple-camera system on the back and featuring a completely new layout. Instead of being placed vertically, as it’s the case on the current iPhone XS and XS Max, Apple could just use a horizontal design, with the three cameras installed in the top center area of the iPhone. As you can see in this render published by CompareRaja, the new iPhones would thus feature a significantly upgraded design on the back, and obviously, the biggest change would be in the camera department.Major battery upgradeFurthermore, the same source claims that iPhone 11, or iPhone XI, could come with a blue version as well, though it’s not yet clear if this would be part of the lineup from the very beginning or it would be added at a later time. A major upgrade will take place in terms of battery capacity, as the iPhone 11 is likely to feature a 4,000 mAh unit, while the Max sibling could go even higher than that. Apple could also make the switch to USB-C, and thus give up on the Lightning port. 5G support wouldn’t be offered on the next-generation iPhone, despite rivals already working on this feature. Samsung, for instance, is projected to launch a 5G version of the Galaxy S10 next month. As with all the early rumors, a certain amount of skepticism is definitely recommended, especially given that we’re still so far away from the moment Apple is projected to unveil the new-generation iPhone.
