Karamjit
Microsoft Windows have already built-in default, free and powerful firewalls, but unfortunately, they lack a simple interface to define own simple rules and can be difficult sometimes to configure them the right way. Windows Firewall Control is a nifty little application which extends the functionality of the Windows Firewall and provides quick access to the most frequent options of Windows Firewall. It runs in the system tray and allows user to control the native firewall easily without having to waste time by navigating to the specific part of the firewall. Windows Firewall Control offers four filtering modes which can be switched with just a mouse click. WFC is free to use, registered users will get the advantage of learning mode which provides notifications for outgoing blocked connections. Thanks to ARMOUR for the update.Download
debebee
To those who dont like WFC cluttering the eventlog with thousands of entries on the firewall log: (i cant seem to find any option to diable this now on the program options. - Make a batchfile using any text editor and save as disablefilteringlogs-eventviewer.bat auditpol /set /subcategory:"Filtering Platform Packet Drop" /success:disable /failure:disable auditpol /set /subcategory:"Filtering Platform Connection" /success:disable /failure:disable Run disablefilteringlogs-eventviewer.bat

Ecarion
Could you clarify @UpGrade for that reason you believe there is telemetry ? Unless @dcs18 I had miss something ? Could you confirm ? Because as far as I know, it doesn't concern this one.

MalwareBytes brought this software and made it completely free, when they did this they added 3 dlls that take telemetry data from you, you can simply delete these dlls or you can uninstall what version you have now and install the repack by ELCHUPACABRA here: Site: https://upload4earn.org Sharecode: Site: https://douploads.com Sharecode: Site: https://turbobit.net Sharecode:
Ecarion
Could you give me the complete name of these dlls ? Because @UpGrade no I wasn't aware and I just to want (or rather) to check manually. Sometimes I read this topic that's why for me, it's sound a little strange. In fact, I was thinking alexandrud (known as the original or the main developer) won't allow this kind of things... and in that case, it's just bad. Sorry i cannot remember them from the top of my head and i have already deleted them. When you install go to the program installation directory then you will see 3 dlls just delete all 3 i think 2 were name mbam something. There should be No dlls left in the directory if you want no telemetry. The original dev is not responsible for this application anymore it was sold to MalwareBytes they are the ones who added the telemetry see Here. Ecarion
mbcut.dll mbcut32.dll Newtonsoft.Json.dll No trouble @UpGrade now I understand totally (MalwareBytes is guilty on this matter) and apparently, you're right. Because (on my PC) I had discover these 3 files (and at the current time, the latest one remain WFC-v5.4.1.0). Quote [....] I will start the new security software that I have in mind I had found this information here and there is another topic (create by alexandrud). At this moment, the new website "biniware.com" is already online. But there is nothing yet about this new project. So wait & see because I wasn't aware and let's hope it will be another good software.

Ecarion
I imagine @teodz1984 it's just a little mistake because the good adress is : https://www.ghacks.net/2018/06/09/malwarebytes-acquisition-of-windows-firewall-control-maker-binisoft/ ## instead of this one : ## http://xn--https-rfa/www.ghacks.net/2018/06/09/malwarebytes-acquisition-of-windows-firewall-control-maker-binisoft/ Another reason : the second link doesn't have this prefix. PS : Please for the next time don't forget to be more specific. Because you didn't put any link, that's why you should use the quote or mention @UpGrade because it's the writer of this post. Otherwise we can't (or it will be hard for us to) understand your message.

Ecarion
From my point of view, it's useless @teodz1984 because the explanation is just below. That's why I believe the people could take the time to read (after all, this topic has only one page). No trouble @UpGrade because I appreciate the confirmation. By the way, I imagine sometimes this trouble concern everybody.
Ecarion
From another point of view, let's say I understand. But @teodz1984 another fact there is already one confirmation (the last line at the bottom). I'm already aware about the hosts which are forbidden. But in this case, apparently it's just a little mistake because it could happen to everybody (me too). That's why I'm don't have one reason to be worry about any malware. Otherwise don't forgot, you can call the staff (via but the function "Report post"). PS : You can ask @dcs18 because he can confirm, I had already try to suggest to create one button in the aim this function became always visible. The fact it was a good idea but I decide to abandon because one member from the staff has made a terrible mistake... To resume, he wasn't respectful with me that's why I will not try again (neither forgot and forgive). Because he didn't learn the definition of these words such as excuse, respect (etc)... and he didn't even try to make amend.
