7-Zip is an open-source file archiver, that offers the highest compression ratio, using the new 7z format, which delivers compression results that are usually 30-50% better than standard ZIP. We tested it with a server log file, which compressed with ZIP had a file size of 18 mb and using 7-Zip was reduced to 8 Mb (results may vary, depending on file type). 7Zip supports 7z, ZIP, CAB, RAR, ARJ, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, CPIO, RPM and DEB formats, so it can be used with all popular archive files. The program offers a basic file explorer interface and also integrates into the Windows right-click menu. It can be associated with any of the supported formats and also offers command/line support.

In first screen enter: 1806

Extract and run 7-ZipPortable.
If you have Notepad++Portable or UltraEditPortable in the same foder as 7-ZipPortable you can choose one of them as editor (F4) by changing one (not two) false to true in 7-ZipPortable.ini.
Settings of installed 7-Zip should be preserved.

This plugin allows you to open and browse disk images created by specialized software for forensic analysis. The following file formats are supported:

is a small plugin for the popular 7-Zip archiver. You can use Asar7z with
7-Zip to open, modify, or create .asar archives, which are used for packaging
applications based on the Electron framework.

eDecoder
is a plugin for the popular archiver 7-Zip. It enables 7-Zip to handle
many different types of mailboxes (files that contain email messages) like
archives. It also enables 7-Zip to handle email message files like archives.
Thanks to eDecoder, you can easily extract an email message or only an email
attachment from a mail base without using the email client that created that

WinCryptHashers
is a small plugin for the popular 7-Zip archiver. The plugin
enables 7-Zip to display the hash values produced by additional hashing
algorithms like MD5. WinCryptHashers also enables 7-Zip to generate text files
with checksums.

The plugin can add support for the following hashing algorithms:
