They say that it was fixed, but it never happened! VLC is in heaven from long time ago!

I selected the subtitles track from the DVD menu but they just refused to play. I then tried with another file I had converted from MKV to video with ConvertXtoDvd v.7.....again it had problems with the subtitles. It played one line, then missed several and then showed the bottom half of each word on some lines and also stuck at some words. At first I thought it was some kind of problem with ConvertXtoDVD v.7 (I had just started using it after using ConvertX toDvd v.4 for years). I checked the VLC settings and tried another DVD, but the result was the same. I Googled and found other people with similar problems. So I uninstalled VLC v.3.0.5 and installed v.3.0.3 and the subtitles worked perfectly on those discs and files. I think I'll wait until they address this with a new version and meantime I'll stick with v.3.0.3.😀😀😀
