The work will be in automation of doors, gates, boom barriers, access control systems, etc. You guys always helped me... Plz suggest me a good name for my startup, I am fedup now of thinking the name. Suggestions which came into my mind are as follows 1. Smartchoice Automations 2. Rekkio Posted December 20, 2018 Share Posted December 20, 2018 In order to suggest a name, people first need to know what your audience is supposed to be: If your reach is mainly focused on India (as above your avatar) you will need something that reasonates best with Indians. If your audience is International then you need something universal that even people who aren't necessarily English understand. This also involves putting a decent time to research what logo would be best for your company. A logo has to carry a meaning and be strong enough mentally to stick to the audience so they immediately find out what your company is about when they see it. The leading companies in Automation (and Automotive) actually have the creator's name as their brand followed / preceeded by 'Auto', 'Automation', etc. For their logos it's mostly occult symbolism such as a animals / greek symbols in Automotive and restricted geometrical shapes for Automation companies. See some logos & names here to get a good picture (for Automotive, could not find a list for Automation): http://www.car-logos.org/ Try looking some of them and why do they have this logo and this brand name to better understand what played in their decision. I would suggest something that people can easily say casually without looking weird (it would be weird to hear someone casually say e.g. ABC Automation Systems, it would be better to say e.g. AutoBot, DoorLock, LoudAlarm, FreshAir, etc.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would say even using a desi name sometimes helps, but desi name only helps if you audience is such. Also, make sure to Google the name before selecting anything.
