myidisbb Posted March 11, 2006 Share Posted March 11, 2006 no ps3 or what the hell N next one going to be about okay please. not going to worry about mod or hacking xbox 360 okay.now that xmas is over. what do the actually owners of xbox 360s feel and think about it? cons and pros. problems? core or full system. silver and gold online. what you paid for it. games you play on in both xbox and xbox360 games.in the px one of the workers got one earlier and it crash with madden 2006. He bought the Full system and looking at the core and full packs, the core is pointless.... Any gamer will get wireless controllers sooner or later... Harddrive is nessessary for playing origonal xbox games and going online... etc etc.. No point getting the core when your gunna end up buying the "full" set later (and waste more money).I tried it out and the graphics are amazing.. He did say he had problems (freezing, not reading disks) but from what I read online, many people have those problems too. Theres no HD DVD technology in them yet so its still running DVD. I know game makers are frustrated at this (cant fit everything into a DVD) so thats a big negative right there. I checked out the silver and gold online options and I dont know whats the big fuss over the "free" xbox online. Yes, the silver option is free but you do not have the online playing capabilities (which is like the whole point of the online features... screw messenging and the extra shit). To play multiplayer online you need Gold and that costs money... Exactly the same as the origonal xbox... which blows.. At least PS2 (3?) is really free online.. The one big thing I liked about the 360 was the controller. the original xbox controller was shitty as hell. Way too chunky and overly large.. Contrasting with PS2's uber small controller. 360 gots it right in the middle. Ive seen the PS3 boomerang controllers.. they look shitty. Dunno how they feel cause if they fit the hand nicely I careless how they look. Although I heard Sony is redesigning them after negative feedback. myidisbb Posted March 14, 2006 Author Share Posted March 14, 2006 not all games oonline for ps2 was free. there was that one that require a harddrive and its expansion addon that was a flop. i think the harddrive was 40 gbs. i dont remember if it was the same size normal internal harddrives for computers.thankyou for the replying on the message. i still got it in the box and went for 1 game. i dont like the $10 extra in cost for the games. will be going to my favorite used game show later and get them for much less. nothing like stupid people trading or selling them for money at a big lost. and i was told that the top few xbox online games played for downloading into xbox 360 cost money. microsfot likes to contorl too much. cant wait to see what they try to do to legal mod chips from australia down under. :sneaky:i cant see a game using much space on hd dvd or the doa blueray ones. just be too easy to scratch them.btw is pinellas county school district connected to you? i think your the one in the messages that are left in the forums that pg2 doesnt like when http is block :think: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
