Sonar
Hi all - Merry Christmas and a happy new year. My question is regarding a built-in sat nav in a car The sat sav is a: Masda-avn2: https://mazda-avn2.naviextras.com/shop/portal/chooseDevice I know how to use the toolbox by copying device info on the SD card and then plugging it into a computer & grabbing the payed update back onto the SD card then transferring back onto sat nav. Now for the map updates its costs money... Isit possible to get that firmware/map update without using that site? and if I download it from elsewhere it wont affect the device? jbleck
my guess it'll only affect it by not working if u don't properly install (copy/paste ) the maps from elsewhere... use a backup SD and test. i was hoping Mazda to be listed here : https://here.navigation.com/ ... they went free (tested on a VW this week)

I will try and get the make/model.
