Bizarre™
VirtualDub is a video capture/processing utility for Windows platforms, licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). It lacks the editing power of a general-purpose editor such as Adobe Premiere, but is streamlined for fast linear operations over video. It has batch-processing capabilities for processing large numbers of files and can be extended with third-party video filters. VirtualDub is mainly geared toward processing AVI files, although it can read (not write) MPEG-1 and also handle sets of BMP images.Download
HX1
Would this be good for capturing something on screen you were doing?
SacredCultivator
What do you mean? It doesn't 'record' anything if that's what you're asking.Since it's used to Encode video's.It's 'editing' capabilities are quite minimal if anything.I still wish that they'd update VirtualDubMOD, as I'm still using that for it's multiple audio-track support. shought
I'd recommend Camtasia Studio for that purpose, we don't have it listed though. Or AutoScreenrecorder Pro, we do have that one listed but I'm unsure if it captures video...
