LeeSmithG
Few years ago there was such a program for getting rid of pain in the backside people from games or chat sites. It would display their i.p. and username and you hit bounce, or drop, or kill and they got logged off. Anyone got an up-to-date version of such a program. We have a complete racist, antisemitic and constantly types insulting words and profanity at a site I visit and instead of right/left clicking their username and selecting ignore so you don't see what they type anymore, it don't exist. Admin won't block their i.p. address, I think because they will reset their router and get a new one anyway. Admin block them for six (6) hours or twelve (12) days, but they got thousands of usernames so log a different one in and start again.
Rekkio
Trying to prevent them from coming is the wrong approach, because there's simply no way to differentiate unwanted users from genuine newcomers. Booting them out is also a goal you won't be able to achieve, because you don't have access to their IPs and as you said they can reset their routers to come back, and possibly retaliate to extents you would not imagine (you take the risk of picking on someone possibly more Armored than you, and becoming a target ripe for stalking). And if such a tool existed to boot users' IPs out without Admin role on a forum / website, wouldn't they have already used it against you and other users? You could try getting them to visit a website where you're Admin, but there would still be no way to get past their 7 proxies if they're good at it You'll also have to factor in the legal implications regarding your intended use of their IP, it's not uncommon for outlaws to defeat casual citizens in court. You could however have a BadWords filter on that site to shadowban comments so they don't show to other users (moderators can review them).
