Now I want to add windows media center edition MCE by adding features to the OS by using Win 8/8.1 WMC Phone Activation Retail Upgrade Keys . But I'm unable to find anywhere to insert this WMC Retail keys. Kindly help me to add this feature. Thanks.

No way on Enterprise. It's not like you're adding just any feature, ProWMC is a SKU Upgrade with it's own license. Edition matrix only allows Pro >> ProWMC.

Will not be able to upgrade, because the Windows 8.1 enterprise license is volume, while windows 8.1 WMC is a retail license

The Enterprise license shouldn't matter here. ProWMC is Any-Time-Upgrade from Pro by design.

Lisensi Enterprise seharusnya tidak menjadi masalah di sini. ProWMC adalah Any-Time-Upgrade dari Pro oleh desain.

right ... but the volume of licenses can't be upgraded to WMC even though WIN8.1PRO, in the past, my win8.1pro was activated with KMS (volume license) unable to upgrade to WMC

Oh  . This means even win8.1PRO volume can't be upgraded but Retail win8.1 PRO can be , Isn't it ?

Not the default way :D.

There is the option to create a ProWMC index by dism set-edition Pro to ProWMC. Together with some generic activation tokens (i still have them here) injected to the WIM it can be indeed activated with the key you got.

Hello s1ave77 kindly help me doing that what you mentioned just now as I do not understand the windows commands and what they mean.Kindly send me the steps and tokens. Also Can a MAK key meant for win8.1 Pro Volume as well as win8.1 Enterprise activate a Retail one? If so then it can be straight away upgraded by WMC Retail Key? Just curious to know. Also using your method, can it be done in win8.1 pro volume version or I have to download a Retail one?

I need a little clarification:-

Also  November_rain twitter says on November 8th post :

==================================== Windows 8.1 PRO / ENT Phone Activation MAK Keys

** Windows 8.1 PRO / ENT Mak Keys Activate Both PRO & ENTERPRISE Edition Compatible to Upgrade WMC Edition.! ** Product Key(s)---------------------------------Remaining Activation Counts slmgr.vbs -ipk -29WK3

Windows 8.1 PRO Phone Activation OEM/RETAIL Keys

what does he mean by saying ….Compatible to Upgrade WMC Edition.! ? as we see above line? I was confused by that line. I thought that activated pro or Ent version by MAK keys could now be upgraded to add the MCE feature by inserting WMC Retail Key. That seemed logical-If a company having already purchased volume versions want to add MCE by purchasing WMC retail keys should be allowed to do so.
