After 56-year-old Cesar Sayoc was arrested on Friday in connection with the mail bombs sent to high-profile Democrats and critics of President Donald Trump this week, social media users started dissecting his internet presence.

 

Accounts believed to be connected to Sayoc paint the picture of a diehard Trump fan who had a penchant for making threats against pretty much anyone who didn't share his political ideology.

 

A Twitter account believed to be Sayoc's surfaced shortly after his arrest, but was taken down by Friday afternoon.

 

Business Insider viewed the account before it was taken down and noted several posts praising Trump while making threats against high-profile Democrats or Trump critics, including former Vice President Joe Biden and director Ron Howard.

 

 

The posts were often incoherent, with rambling sentences. Others were short and sweet, such as several recent tweets saying simply "Go Trump and Kanye."

 

When Sayoc's name was released, one woman posted screenshots showing the threats he made against her on Twitter earlier this month.

 

It's unclear what sparked the disagreement, but the image shows that Sayoc threatened to dump Rochelle Ritchie's body in a swamp.

 

Ritchie, who previously worked as a press secretary for the House Democratic Police and Communications Committee, said that she reported the account to Twitter but that the company determined "there was no violation of the Twitter Rules against abusive behavior."

 

Facebook appears to have taken more action when it comes to Sayoc's posts.

 

 

The social network said in a statement to CNN on Friday that they had deleted multiple posts that were determined to violate Facebook's community standards.

 

The spokesperson said that Facebook discovered these posts after users complained, and through their own detection system.

 

While Facebook suspended his account (under the name "Cesar Altieri Randazzo") after his arrest on Friday, the New York Times viewed the page before it was taken down and saw that he posted frequently in groups including "The Trump American Party " and "Vote Trump 2020."

 

The newspaper says he posted frequently during the 2016 presidential election season, including photos of him attending a Trump rally and wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat.

 

He frequently shared articles and video clips from Breitbart, Fox News and pages like "Handcuffs for Hillary."

Crazy people that try to kill people in US politics have been around since 1835. So  you can try and rationalize it with  news based on today by saying its Trump then who ever takes his place , some  people will hate them too.  History  paints the  true picture that both sides are crazy  and dangerous. Someone tried to kill every President since I was born , lucky  none were killed and one was just wounded .

MY point is....crazy people need very little encouragement  to attempt really stupid things , including attempted mass murder...you cannot deny trump's rhetoric is way out there in far right field if you will excuse the pun.. including misrepresentations,fabrications and outright lies on a scale politics has never seen to this point.... my point is also there is no place in and out of politics for any of this.... excusing or ignoring this because it your favorite politician and cherry picking the other side doing misdeeds does not negate the fact that trump has done AMERICA   wrong by his petulant spoiled brat act.

Yes he could of acted like someone he was not and put a fake face on like most of the others did in the past and will do in the future. All politicians are lairs and fakes, but he acts no different than he did before and that scares people.    But that would not of changed nothing  or the things he does,   just  if he don't say nothing  you want even be tuned in to what hes going to do next,  he could start a war or something and you would not know it tell it happens , If he would of acted any different  he most likely would never got elected.  Him acting foolish and things is what got him elected . Me being a Independent once Sanders was out of the race i really didn't care who won they were both jokes too me  .

I must mention, we have been allowing news related to this subject as we thought at the face value, it looked like a really important news, which we believe it was and still is.

 

The issue, however, is how members have behaved on it.

 

The discussions - on different topics and posts - on this subject has reached absurd levels. I must therefore remind everyone that this forums is not for political discussions. We have given members liberty to post news. But members should remember that discussing politics is not the subject of our forums and if continued like this, it's going to be counterproductive to the whole idea of it.

 

Still, I think we have found that if the said suspect found is to be true, we know that at least the primary issue which made this issue so is important is fixed.

 

Considering all of it and that discussions on politics goes against the forum Guidelines.
