MrSzzS Patch (currently version 3.0) apparently patches Adguard.Global.dll and does not need to configure host file or firewall it can block program update and license checking but keeps filter updates.

Here AdGuard shows "Lifetime License" and gives error when I click on "Refresh status" ie the program can not check if the license is legitimate or not. AdGuard also gets error when searching for program updates.

The downside of the patch is that after you apply it you lose the settings and you need to reconfigure AdGuard and add the filters again.

1. there is no need to sharecode non warez links

2. that dos not look to good for a unknown source (would be something else from a well known medicine man)

Can someone confirm if @SolidSmoke reference is safe and what @Togijak said is correct?
@nir @DonyMach1 @Sylence
Can you guys help with this situation?

You can trust mrszzs patch, although most of his patches are ripped from others crackers like astron patches too but they work. It's normal that diablo patch engine gives theses detections.

My intention was to post the original source from where I found the patch and in the description of the video has the link to the patch so I thought I needed to use sharecode.

I thought MrSzzS Patch was trustworthy and that youtube channel was his "official". Sorry.

It is not necessary, the patch blocks adguard entirely from accessing these hosts. Adguard checks the key in 2 situations:

1. When you click "Refresh status" in the license window.

2. From time to time even if you do not do anything (I do not know exactly the behavior pattern).

After applying the MrSzzS patch when I click on "Refresh status" my license continues "Lifetime" and an error window appears indicating that adguard apparently could not verify the license.

Ok just wanted to highlight that I'm using the patch without host block and without problems so setting the host file is just a matter of personal preference. If someone has the key blacklisted doing this I change my mind but at the moment I think it best to leave the host file clean, I prefer it.

Where can I find your patched dll? Only posted in the topic the Go2Crck dlls that have 2 unnecessary dlls.

EDIT:

Would it be the dll that is in your repack? I'll test that.

As you can see in that gif if i install an older version that is in the same update channel (From 2.5.1 to 2.5.12), it will be updated without problem.

if you want to test just go the page where there are all version https://github.com/AdguardTeam/PopupBlocker/releases and install for exemple 2.3.3 from there and you wont get any update to 2.5.12 because the update channel changes from 2.3.xx to 2.5.xx

on his older patchs it was just add fontcacheev1 to C:\ProgramData

but if he use patched dlls then yes no need host block

it seems he is learning from ways people have did it in the passed

aka TheBig did this 1st i think

real both go2crck and thebig both is fine and now MrSzzS

i am glad i no all 3 of them guys as we all learn from smart people not all the same but most is just like

about this comment

1. When you click "Refresh status" in the license window.

2. From time to time even if you do not do anything (I do not know exactly the behavior pattern).

adguard can block all keys if not patched with dlls
