Just curious (since I do not use the patched dll) — does the patched one update extensions, filters and browsing security module?

i think so  never had problems with patched dlls befor  but adguard is change things on some newer versions but seems fine

i see adguard beat are old toolbox on vip topic so someone said to me ill have to test it again   if its right what he say then it seems like adguard is trying to beat host  thats if its right  what he said if toolbox no work ? but again ill test and think of ways passed it again if need  i like both with patched dll or toolbox as it not need patched dlls  i think soon have to make better fix

Bud, does your edited dll throws errors about wrong certificate signatures too before visiting a site , cos for me with vpn ; the Go2crk ones does !! Its annoying !!

& if you can just up the dll only to a host other than mega!

the problems is your setting in side adguard

i just tested both dlls from go2crck and  thebig both is fine so its your settings my friend

Nope , Bud I dont use proxy with adguard....I just use default settings with filters and extensions &

Its with any site that i tried to or try to visit ; after a few try again clicks ; it opens up !!!

 

& For the time being , Im back to ublock + umatrix ; uninstalled adguard for now , cos I ve got some work to do and with that  patched dlls ; I dont know why sites are throwing this error and opening up strangely without images and broken up !

i tested both patched dlls  seems fine for me 

maybe is vpn   have u tested with out patched dlls i mean use trial and see if u have the same problems with some sites ?

I opened that page and I didn't have that error. Its strange that knowledge and I didn't have the same error.

Yeah , thanks guys for hearing me out & I'll do a refresh install later and respond with results, with host block only cos I think multiple patching methods may have messed up some settings in my browser perhaps that Im not seeing !!!  Thats Weird but Waterfox has tendacy not respond to Adguard quickly even tho its added in the filtered apps section , it takes a few restarts to show up ...!  No problemo in Cent (chromium) browser tho ; but my main is waterfox so I was annoyed .

Will respond with results later by doing only new host block (+ old activation method) !

With this new repack I can add filters without issues. All working fine

Also a suggestion, you can add %~dp0 in your script so that it can be installed from a network share (like FOR %%i IN ("%~dp0Adguard Premium*.exe") DO Set FileName="%%i")

@TheBig & @knowledge Guys, didnt need the dlls now , cos with host block + Old activators = Back to Work 100% !

@TheBig or @knowledge , just a request ; can one of you guys edit the BlockAdguard.bat (in NGen activator or if u dont have , ping me I'll upload it !) file

 

to include the new host blocks ; that'd be enough & the patched dlls wont be needed !

It slowed down and make my old laptop crawled upon start up. It is a good product but not intended to use to older machines.
