new gui  not much changes just can now resize the window and i not changed icons as ccleaner team wil post new version soon

plus i must thanks my friend RadiXX11   he help fix the resize problem i had  with out him cant be done like i wanted

Very good looking GUI. I like the old one much better than the new one because I really dislike "modern" GUI with flat black and white icons that so many programs use these days. I want the Windows 7 icon style with colorful 3D icons. The only thing I like better from the new GUI is the gray background (instead of totally white) in the checkbox area. The main CC icon is very nice but it looks a bit too dark I think. I searched a bit and found a png with a lighter red color. All credit goes to the original creator. Here it is:

@knowledge I wonder if you and/or @RadiXX11 can make a new version that includes the lighter red icon in CC main GUI (the big icon and the small icon in the title bar) and the tray icon. Please also add the gray background in the checkbox areas in all the option tabs. It would also be very great if you could add the last missing feature from the Pro version. (Now the scheduling tab in options is missing.)

 

If you can do this I would really appreciate it!

Old look , " looks"  real good , strange;  Edge is mentioned for cleaning also , but it does NOT clean it , when choosen for cleaning !

I dont use Edge very often , so I wonder if you have to clean it still…………..( after some reboots)

If not , we can use this in our new 1809 !

windows  1809  have much bugs and ccleaner team trying to change with windows 1809   i no like but its ccleaner team the boss

i think soon ccleaner team will post a newer version again soon  so i not change much things  like i have be for as i am sure ill have to do again soon

It doesn't matter so much for me if the scheduler isn't available in the old look because mostly I do the cleaning manually anyway. I use Windows 7 so the other things doesn't affect me. So if you can upload a version with the new icon and background it would be good.

am i close the how u want it to look  i still have to change icons and little things

u have to give me sometime to do it right my friend i am working on much things

if u have some icons or things u like post them and ill try and add as u want

 

edit if u will have like the new gui i will have did it by now

but this old looking version i have some problems with   little things i hope to fix soon i can

I have reused some of your screenshots to show how I want it to look like. The first one shows which gray color I want you to use in the old look.

I haven't converted it to ico because I'm not sure which program to use for converting png to ico so you must download the png and convert it yourself this time but it would be interesting to know what program you use for converting png to ico? Which one do you recommend to use?

I have tested it now and it's good but it's some more things to fix if possible.

 

1. I have removed the shadow under the image in the png I uploaded 12 hours ago but in this version it still have the shadow. Did you use the old png with the shadow?

2. The gray color in the checkbox area is much better now but if you can make the color a little bit more lighter gray it would be great.

3. Replace the big icon in main GUI with the new one.

4. I have noticed if I use swedish (or other language) the Online Help is still there but if I switch to english it disappear. Can you remove Online Help if the language is set other than english?

5. Another language related thing is if set to other than english a "&" sign shows in the settings. See screenshot.

6. I prefer the monitor popup that was in your first posted old look. Just replace the icon to the new one.

7. See screenshot about add gray color to background in Tools and Options too.

8. See screenshot about add space.

 

I'm super grateful for your help and it's absolutely no hurry to get it done. Take all the time you need.

i  have some little problems with  things

i cant seem to change the place of them

 

about this onlinehelp thing

to remove that 100%

ill have to edit about 57 languages but i do not understand all the languages   its a problem maybe i can think of something not sure

 

not sure y i cant seem to change that to gray ? its something i need to look more at

 

sure i can change it back not sure how that happened it was not planed

i am still learning much about this program

@knowledge If you want you can try to learn more about the program and then maybe you can figure out how to fix more things or even everything. But even if you can't fix anything more I'm pleased anyway about the things you already have fixed.

I was thinking of one more thing and it's really not so important but if it's easy for you to fix it you can do it. The tab buttons at the left side in Tools and Options have CCleaner's "own" button style but the buttons on the right side have Windows button style (of course depending on which Windows theme that's currently used). Can you make the tab buttons on the left side to also use Windows button style?
