InsaneAl Posted October 3, 2018 Share Posted October 3, 2018 The other day I updated from 52.9.1 to 60.0, but not by live update or installing (because you can't live update this one - clicking on 'Check for updates' button always yielded nothing there,, but if you fresh install, it will kill all your existing addons etc), so I backed up everything, downloaded 60.0, then unpacked it and simply copied into T'Bird folder and ran it, and sure as eggs, all my addons no longer worked. They were still there but disabled, BUT 60.0 wasn't that bad to run as it was, so I left it in place, excepted it as it was, and carried on. Two and a half hours ago I fired up T'Bird on my daily, once only email check for the day and like every time, I checked for updates - nothing.. I just decided to browse in this part of NsaneForums and now I see your post for v60.2.1,, posted over 20 hrs ago, so I fired up T'Bird again, clicked on update button and sure enough, there it is, ready for updating. I also went to Mozilla download Directory Listing, which holds ALL of their working versions installers from day one, FF and TB - Beta or Final, and yes there it was also, so I downloaded it.. This not the first time this has happened with TB and FF, and sometimes I have waited over 24 hrs before live updates kick in, yet the installers are on the site..
