Dr. Blythe™
I'm looking for a software/program that can prevent unauthorized copying/transfer of "any" digital files from my computer. If somebody wants to paste something from my computer this program should ask the user for a password to grant that activity. Same thing if that user wants to copy something from my computer. MPT released a keygen for this version back in 2012. So you would have to do some testing to see if it would work with the OS you are running. mp68terr
Would this still work while booting with another OS? If your computer has to remain accessible to others, you can encrypt your sensitive data/files.
stylemessiah
Wasting your time with simple programs, all anyone has to do is boot from a Linux live cd or Win PE and they can copy what they want If you really need file security....encryption, its the only secure way

Just rar up all your sensitive files and use a strong password. No one at no time will ever be able to see them. SORRY I think maybe we are getting a little off topic here. I think the point myself and others are trying to make is that it is good practice to make your sensitive files un-usable/un-readable to others, just in case you get pwned.
