Female connector

I have a question about female connectors. I had to replace 3 on my dryer. The old connector looks like this  https://imgur.com/a/btlvTcc      and I replaced it with this one   https://imgur.com/a/sapLUaG

Is that ok to use the newer ones or do I need to replace it with something like this   https://imgur.com/a/KWCAqgY

thx

You can use this one, but better put some tape around it.

The complete connector including both the female end and the part of the wire the is clamped down to hold the wire in place?  thx

Easiest and best if already connected, but also enough if not possible and then only the female.

Often also works perfect with hot glue instead, but that of course only when already connected. It's just to prevent anything else to contact.

Does not care and tape around never hurts. The newer version does actually physically the same.

Ok guys, one more question plz. Here is a pic of the part that I am not sure which wire connects to which   https://imgur.com/a/Urb9TP1

and here is the pic of the wiring / schemantics      https://imgur.com/a/aAg1qGc

Any help is appreciated.   thx

As you can see on schematics there are pinouts marked NO, NC and COM.

You need to just check on new switch body same markings and connect it.

If there are not same markings then take a picture of nameplate of switch and post so we can help you.

EDIT:

Just checked:

Markings are the same.

Just note.

It seems that you are connecting heater using faston terminals.

Keep in mind that connection should be tight and best method is to use crimper or, at least, solder station to make good conection.

Both terminals are good enough.

Don't use tape - heat is not good for tape.
