Betts1964
I have a question about female connectors. I had to replace 3 on my dryer. The old connector looks like this https://imgur.com/a/btlvTcc and I replaced it with this one https://imgur.com/a/sapLUaG Is that ok to use the newer ones or do I need to replace it with something like this https://imgur.com/a/KWCAqgY thx
Israeli_Eagle
You can use this one, but better put some tape around it.

Often also works perfect with hot glue instead, but that of course only when already connected. It's just to prevent anything else to contact. You need to just check on new switch body same markings and connect it. If there are not same markings then take a picture of nameplate of switch and post so we can help you. EDIT: Just checked: https://www.walmart.com/ip/WE4M415-GE-General-Electric-Dryer-Door-Switch-OEM-NEW-AP4366862-PS2344321/116738142 Markings are the same. It seems that you are connecting heater using faston terminals. Keep in mind that connection should be tight and best method is to use crimper or, at least, solder station to make good conection. Both terminals are good enough. Don't use tape - heat is not good for tape.
