Guest grandcommander
Ok, we all know that SpySweeper,CounterSpy,SpywareDoctor,TrendMicro AS..... are the top rated anti-spyware tools, but there are others, just as good, that are not on the list.I have just tested a few tools on my old computer and i found many pests that SpySweeper ,CounterSpy, SpywareDoctor missed.I used SpyEmergency2005,EwidoAnti-Malware,WinAnti-Spyware2006 and McAfee AntiSpyware and the results made me think hard, what are the best anty-spyware tools? What do you think, are the top rated programs allways the most effective or not???Do you know any other anty-spyware tool (that is not high rated, but good) ??? At the same time the Anti-spyware B can be a complete sh** for you, but work fine for me. Always make your own tests. But if want a 3th party opinion, take a look on trustworthy sites. Forget about rogue (paid) garbage like toptenreviews.Take a look here: http://spywarewarrior.com/asw-features.htmand here: http://www.firewallguide.com/spyware.htm

Undefeated
NOD32 is all you need. I only use SpySweeper for on demand scans only. ;)

Ewido is a well known anti-trojan solution. A must have for those who need a solid solution next to anti-virus software. I use it. :P The others, SpyEmergency and WinAnti-Spyware just tested once. Liked both... SpyEmergency is better I guess. well, I´m almost not using anti-spywares anymore, hijack this! and pocket kill box are currently enough for me. Chaos17
i use Kaspersky. but i use Adaware se - freeSpybot-search & destroyBazookaA-squared - freeandEwidobut the first 3 is the antispyware i usenone for realtime protection as Kaspersky has the best realtime protection. ;)
erRor67
NOD32 is all you need. I only use SpySweeper for on demand scans only. :PNa, i seriously doubt that. No one scanner can detect everything.. Its good to have a variety of scanners. Note, you only can install one anti-virus program (installing more than one can screw up your computer hard core). Of course, thats why you use on demand antivirus scanners as well. You can also install multiple anti-spyware programs which is what I recommend. ;)

InfernoSB
I preferably use NOD32, Spy Sweeper, and Spy Doctor together. Each one has its own ability to detect what the other does not detect which comes into great use.
