When I previously got it , I didnt even installed until recently but I got that around in Dec-2017 and it app didnt even asked for the license, it was already set to expire around this Dec-18 ; so my guess its gets activated the day its sent to you doesnt matter when you start using it ; not sure tho so you'll have to check it out !
