Karamjit
hello members.. my brother has redmi note 5 pro. 2 days ago, AdGuard version 2.11.81 was working nicely on this mobile phone. but after updating to firmware 9.6.3.0, vpn system of AdGuard stops and it has to be restarted manually. now AdGuard is not working in the background. then we tried the latest Beta version 2.12.187 but nothing changed. note: 1. pref.proxy.disable.reconfigure option is already selected. 2. in settings AdGuard Always-on active is selected. but it reverts when closing AdGuard with thumb. now i connected tor proxy with AdGuard with Orbot. i use Orbot only for proxy, not for vpn. please suggest how to make AdGuard vpn working Jime234
Myna
@Karamjit Pin/lock that app to the recent menu. That'll do the trick. Edited August 21, 2018 by Myna

But you'll get used to it pretty soon. And I'm not so sure about the battery drainage as Adguard keeps on running in the background anyway. Try it for a couple of days and see if you find any significant difference. Karamjit
RadioActive
Try this : Step 1: 1. From the device’s Settings, go to Battery & performance. 2. Turn off Scenes > Sleep mode. 3. Tap Choose apps, select an app and then select ‘No restrictions’ for not allowing battery saver to restrict this app’s activity. Step 2: 1. Open the Security app, tap Boost speed > Settings button > Lock apps. 2. Turn on the switch next to the app you want to lock. Step 3: 1. Open the recent app view (by pressing Recent apps square button), then swipe down the thumbnail of the app you want to lock in background. dcs18
Firstly, ensure that no other VPN has been installed — then, try the following one-by-one:— Settings >> General >> AdGuard Autostart >> Enabled Settings >> Proxy Settings >> Show notification icon >> Enabled Settings >> Advanced >> Low Level Settings >> pref.vpn.disable.pause >> Enabled If nothing works:— Settings >> Advanced >> Low Level Settings >> Reset knowledge-Spammer, jayesh30202, LadySmokes and 2 others 4

dcs18
Firstly, backup your AdGuard settings. Then, on your Android:-- navigate to System Settings >> Apps >> AdGuard >> FORCE STOP >> CLEAR CACHE System Settings >> Apps >> AdGuard >> CLEAR DATA Restart your droid re-configure your AdGuard to check whether the issue is resolved If the issue is unresolved:-- navigate to System Settings >> Apps >> AdGuard >> FORCE STOP >> CLEAR CACHE System Settings >> Apps >> AdGuard >> CLEAR DATA System Settings >> Apps >> AdGuard >> UNINSTALL Restart your droid install a fresh copy of AdGuard re-configure your AdGuard to report back whether the issue is resolved Karamjit, jayesh30202 and Recruit

WHAT I DO : start Adguard, "lock" it in the background, security>battery>abs>adguard>no restrictions. , security>adguard>autostart-ON. (If above not helps): security>game speed booster>add game>adguard I do all of the above and it works most of the times, and even then sometimes adguard goes off automatically damn MIUI ! dcs18 and Karamjit
