straycat19
I was talking to a high school senior today, my nephew, and he was telling me how he gets free software. Seems like he belongs to a number of websites (he wouldn't say which ones, but he claimed more than 30), and is even a member of the staff on several of them. So how does that get him free software? He sends the patches/cracks/keygens/serials that are posted on the sites to the developers of the software along with the site information and usernames of the posters/crackers and in return the developers have been giving him free software licenses for the software he reports. He said he started this about 5 years ago and has over 200 program licenses now. It isn't exactly a novel idea, since there were active bounties on software thieves back in the 90s and early 00s when developers let it be known that they would give away software for new reports of stolen keys, etc. I told him I hope he hides his identity really well because I am sure he has pissed off hundreds of people in the process. Ahh, kids, don't you just love 'em.

Rekkio
Karma Law Developers sometimes are also Reversers / Board members on their free time. He might piss one off and get his IP with information forwarded straight back to said Board members. Licenses are not Free What he does is stupid. What does he want ? A Free HWID-Locked Online-Activation license ? To be the Developer's slave and lick their online Activation servers to unlock their softwares ? Softwares are pirated because of their DRM and the challenge associated with it. People then use said pirated versions to escape online activation and HWID locks. People want to be able to use a software without the Developer controlling them. Talking about control Would your nephew appreciate having to activate his door online before leaving his home ? I don't think so. I rather think he would feel like a prisoner in his own home. This is exactly what we feel when forced to use their stupid Activation servers. He should learn a thing or two before reporting our Freedom Fighters Reversers.

As far as being worried, he is probably the most protected kid in America considering 30 out of 33 extended family members work for law enforcement or intelligence, his father is a member of an FBI Cyber Team. My name is never mentioned as a role model since I spent most of my life eliminating people and a lot of what I did can never be discussed. My military type affiliations don't necessarily fit well with the family's 100 years in law enforcement. You could say I am the black sheep of the family. They do mention the fact that on several occasions I took walks with Deputy Reichsfuhrer Rudolph Hess in the garden at Spandau, and partied at several night clubs owned by Rolf Eden as his personal guest. So I have done some things they think are unique worth mentioning. People always disparage those they realize have a higher moral and ethical makeup as a sign of their own insignificant life. Personally I follow my own moral compass.

You have been reminded on a number of occasions that this is a warez site and we don't take kindly to being referred to . . . . . as thieves — here's one of those reminders:— On 9/8/2017 at 2:08 AM, dcs18 said: Being a n00b is not a sin — but, taking a moral high ground and accusing other Members of being thieves, sure is. I mean what do people believe this site is — Buckingham Palace? It's a fuckin' warez site — so, while I don't give a damn about n00bs, if someone starts targeting my technical posts with the sole aim of grandstanding, I sure am going to take a swing at that person. 9 hours ago, straycat19 said: As far as being worried, he is probably the most protected kid in America considering 30 out of 33 extended family members work for law enforcement or intelligence, his father is a member of an FBI Cyber Team. Could any of those so called law enforcement / intelligence / FBI Cyber Team members ever save your ass on all those occasions when we were busy kicking it out of the park? For all that we care you could've been sleeping with your Deputy Reichsfuhrer Rudolph Hess and Rolf Eden — just get this into your uncomprehending mutt . . . . . we are a warez site. Everybody here, knows very well that you cannot walk the talk — uploading some jerk's outfit to your avatar doesn't make you a commando (good-luck eliminating people in your wet dreams.)
