Malwares removal tool

vitorio

Recommended Posts

Got infected by porno pop pops in my family computer and need help to removed this Malwares.

I have been trying to removed them manually following some internet recommendations, without success.

If anyone know had this experience and found a solution to removed them, please let me know.

Maybe there is some type of free trial software that do the job. If so, please provide me with the links to try them.

Found some links in nsane but the links are not longer available. Some of them are back to 1 year old.

Please need your help. Thanks.

@neofita,That was my first option since it works for me in the past with another persistent redirect. This time did not help me.

If know others alternative, please provide the links. Thanks for your help.

do not use any malware removal program without the supervision of anyone who understands it

download HijackThis
https://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/
1.on system disk you create a folder Hijackthis, put the downloaded file in this folder
2.Run HijackThis program window and click on Do a system scan and save a logfile and wait ...
3. After a while it pops up Notepad dump HJT. This extract copy and post here or send me via private massage

Kaspersky removal tool is good. It's slow, but it finds and repairs almost everything, and You can keep your current AV installed.

If You want use free antivirus tools, free Avast is quite good, and Kaspersky or Bitdefender Internet Security trials are even better. You must of course uninstall current AV first if possible.

+1 for https://www.superantispyware.com/  (free)

combined with Malwarebytes (free) and I believe Kaspersky Labs has a free scanner as well.

Cleaned my brother-in-law's laptop a couple years ago. He had over a thousand porn tracking cookies.

Got nothing to loose at this point, but unfortunately, a clean install may be necessary.

Did you try to use the Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool (aka KVRT) ?

  • http://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com/devbuilds/KVRT/latest/full/KVRT.exe

Otherwise as you can see, there is a lot of Rescue CD :

  • https://rescuedisk.s.kaspersky-labs.com/updatable/2018/krd.iso
  • https://free.drweb.com/aid_admin/?lng=en
  • https://download.geo.drweb.com/pub/drweb/livedisk/drweb-livedisk-900-usb.exe
  • http://download.bitdefender.com/rescue_cd/latest/bitdefender-rescue-cd.iso
  • https://www.eset.com/int/support/sysrescue/
  • https://download.eset.com/com/eset/tools/recovery/rescue_cd/latest/eset_sysrescue_live_enu.iso
  • etc

Then do you have one usb key (16 or 32 Go etc) ? Because it will be easier with Easy2Boot (Sardu, MultiBootUSB, YUMI, etc).

Unless you rather the Ultimate Boot CD (aka UBCD etc) ? My advice will be to check if you can easily add one .iso antivirus or find a better alternative (to UBCD).

PS : As reminder, you can find (the previous) MalwareBytes AntiMalware (aka MBAM_v2) :

  • the changelog : https://www.malwarebytes.com/support/releasehistory/#mbamp
  • https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mbam_2x
