Snuffy1942 Posted August 14, 2018 Share Posted August 14, 2018 Actually if he made the Recommended Acer Restore on USB. then he has everything he needs to check, and validate if the HDD is corrupt. damaged or what ever. also i would recommend if he did not MAKE the USB as Recommended by Acer. then several very good programs he can use to BOOT to and check the HDD. two such programs that I use is 1. Gandalf'sWin10PEx64Redstone3-07-10-2018 2. WinPE10_8_Sergei_Strelec_x86_x64_2018.05.03_English or he can use Boot Media by Acronis or Paragon or several others to check set and repair MBR and many other issues...
