Bizarre™
VirtualBox is an application installed on an existing host operating system; within this application, additional operating systems can be loaded and run, each with its own virtual environment. For example, several Linux distributions can be hosted on a single machine running Windows XP; likewise, XP and Vista can run on a machine running Linux, and so on. There is a free for personal or evaluation use proprietary version and a GNU General Public License (GPL) version.Download

Tucker
Is it just me or is the VirtualBox-3.0.8-53140-Win.exe link really is a 3.0.8-53138-Win.exe?
HX1
I don't know but when I tried the first install of the first update..completely destroyed my installation...3.0.6.. after the install I kept having driver issues.. The first install kept hanging.. Finally I used the last one.. once I got it installed I still had errors and problems when booting with a 'Net' device...I eventually had to eradicate every part of it .. and I think I will wait till the really do fix whatever problem there is with it.. Right now I am not even going to bother with it.
Bizarre™
Try not to install new versions on top of the previous.
HX1
Yeah.. That is kind of what I was thinking. could have been the issue.. It remained even after running all of the un-installers.. so I had to do a manual clean.. usually happens in the situation where you get an issue with OVER-installing something..Have to wait and see when I get the time to do it..LOL
