For gaming windows is the best. There isn't many linux games.

If you have good computer knowledge Linux is fine. Otherwise stick to Windows. Most apps you have good equivilents, some are not upto standard yet.

Theres alot of anti-MS stuff around, most of it is a load of s**t!

Linux (well most distros) are not as easy to use as windows, see first point too). For normal stuff (surfing the net, listening to music), most distros are set up for that "out of the box" are easy to use.

You can always dual boot windows and your chosen linux distro.

That's what i thought, the thing that made me think about switching is an article i read about how microsoft widowns " tips the play ground" for it's own aps and how there is a file hidden very deep in windows folder that has every email you have used... every single one and other personel data. Will try to look up the article and post it.

Edit: Just noticed that the topic has been moved. Sorry that i posted it in the wrong forum, i figured because it's about me switching to linux yes or no that it doesn't fit in "Software Chat" . Sorry.

if you dont even know the answer to the question you posted, stick with windows. linux is LOTS of work most of the time. but if you enjoy trying new stuff and learning, give it a shot.
