Recommend Kaspersky Free Antiviris (KFA).  Or Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) (paid).

This is best in free version, but i am looking with more features, thanks for your suggestion :)

Windows Defender is very good. If you want the best, use Bitdefender, you can test it free for 6 months: https://www.bitdefender.com/media/html/consumer/new/get-total-security2018-opt/

It's fully compatible with Windows 10, 8, 7 - 32/64 bit.

Bitdefender is not good as recently security issue it transfer data some third party.

Norton or/and MBAM. Have been using them since couple of years and satisfied as per my needs. Good luck.

Since MBAM version 3 it doesn't provide good as its earlier version. Thanks for your suggestion :)

For the very same reason, I am still on MBAM's v2.2.1. Never heard about KIS being on the same league as MBAM/Norton but yes if it suits your needs then go ahead. Good luck.

@nsan3 .

KIS is good at the moment is providing good security to their customers, and I also feel ESET is not  bad if anyone do advance settings than it will be enough to keep safe pc or laptop.

Try Avira Antivirus (free).  It has been rated excellent consistently by anti-virus testers.
