Google Chrome also uses a brand new javascript engine (V8), which is much faster than existing javascript interpreters. This means you can create more complex and more intensive AJAX applications with fewer speed and processing constraints. Finally, Google Chrome is built on top of Blink (WebKit fork), so Google Chrome users will benefit from the CSS3 features being added to Blink (WebKit fork) as those features are released. Only there it is updateable automatically) What installer was used, how and where was installed, if there was another version before, then how it was uninstalled and much more. If you used the installation package without updating feature, then you can not continue to update automatically, only manually is possible. (Such a installers are usually shared on this forum, these don't have auto-update feature and they are not automatically updateable). Automatically updateable beta version installers can be found on this pagehttps://www.google.com/chrome/browser/beta.html PS Updating Google Chrome is different from updating other programs, and if you do not know it, you may be in serious trouble in the future. It happens if You do or have already did something wrong. I don't know, if You have beta, why You should update it now, because there have not been any updates, there is still the same version, what now is already released as stable. (Current stable is 67.0.3396.62 and current beta is also 67.0.3396.62, only beta was released about hour before) Yesterday were updated Dev channel to 68.0.3440.7 and the Canary channel to 69.0.3445.2 Maybe today or tomorrow something happens on the beta channel.
