I Am Negan
Anybody use process hacker. When I restart my PC I get a pop-up that says, you’re running a 32 bit version on a 64-bit system. What’s weird it never said this before. Anybody know what’s going on? I love this program but they need to update it.
straycat19
Yes I run the 64 bit version on 64 bit Windows because in their readme file that comes with the software it says the following: You cannot run the 32-bit version of Process Hacker on a 64-bit system and expect it to work correctly, unlike other programs. I use the portable version which includes both 32 and 64 versions and just run the 64 bit executable. I don't use the installer version. https://processhacker.sourceforge.io/downloads.php

Have you tried with the Nightly or Stable? This happen with the portable.zip version or with the installer version? From the information you are giving into this thread, I understand you are running a 32bit version on a 64bit system, have you tried replacing the version with the x64 one? Any particular reason to use a x86 one? Your message is this one: If you use the portable.zip, once you unzipped it, you will have two folders: Use the exe into x64 folder, highlighted one. https://ci.appveyor.com/api/projects/processhacker/processhacker2/artifacts/processhacker-3.0.1424-bin.zip In case nothing helps, feel free to open a issue here: https://github.com/processhacker/processhacker/issues probably someone will reply. I Am Negan
Thanks guys, yeah it was the 32-bit installer version. I didn’t know there was a portable 64-bit version. I’ll uninstall the one I got, and install the portable version. Yes that’s the pop-up I was getting.
