HX1 Posted September 23, 2009 Share Posted September 23, 2009 Well that is what I was saying about the Business Edition is that it states precisely that it does have HIPS.. It states that it has HIPS..but only for the program itself in the normal version of ESS, or is it that this is explained in a way that normal people can understand it? So as the Business Edition states as included elements.. the ones that are mentioned are also included in the normal edition of ESS..but it states there are other options..I mean I know that AV is only AV protection.. that is plain and there are ways to include that protection using web access protection and there are many options to use various different elements for configuration.. However with ESS the Firewall elements adds a whole new avenue of extending both the already available features and implementing new forms of protection..If you really don't study the options, and realize that several areas overlap and are even in other sections.. then you never realize it..EDIT: BTW.. the only technical difference between the regular and business editions is the Server Administrator..and License manager.. This is an element of ESET to act as an administration server for a network of machines that have ESET running on them as clients.. the entire network can be managed from one server.. each version can be installed as a server or a client..Scheduling scanning the whole bit.. Plus there are a few other features available through ESET..License management can be done from one( or two ) consoles..So basically you could manage your home network.. with several systems easily or your business.. all at once..
