Kalju
@Recruit said absolutely correctly, I agree with him fully.. I think, not necessary to waste time. The best thing to do, it is really true, if you only use the programs that you need. All of these so-called antivirus programs are unnecessary, they are completely useless or even are harmful to the user. They are only necessary for their producers to earn money. Any of such antiviruses cannot work, their time is gone. The principle is is outdated. Yes, maybe 20 years ago they did something, but not no more. Recruit
Totally agree with @Kalju ! Antivirus concept is dead since long time ago. Same as the DVD . Last time when I burned one was many years ago.... I am quite surprised to see lots of people here interested when a new version of Nero or BurnAware is released. starsfighter
use at least a free AV , Not all people have a high security knowledge even if you have you would miss something at least you will feel a little safe . Security software is tool with a good brain you gain security like any other tool human use.
neofita
se posso dire la mia, resta col Windows Defender, è più che sufficiente magari ogni tanto fai una scansione con HitmanPro if I can say mine, stay with Windows Defender, it's more than enoughmaybe you do a scan with HitmanPro from time to time regards

Well, I have a antimalware app., but only for scans, not for so called " real time protection ". Nowadays, in most of cases, malware is more advanced than the apps. responsables to protect against it, so it depends more by the user behavior rather than an app...... mazigh
While I understand the Antivirus limits I don't agree with idea of using No Antivirus especially for those not using Sandbox apps or browsers with no Sandbox technology, I think using a good AV for malwares is a good idea, sometimes you randomly visit a new site for curiosity and if infected with a malware.. it will give you a lesson, for Spaywares isssues I think a Good firewall can take the job.. of course with little knowledge and experience, and at the end nothing is 100% secure. They do not have such things. They think completely independently and in their own way, perhaps with one other body part ..., if they at all thinking about something.
