12stones
Hello everyone, You do not need this crap Windows It is difficult to use linux but every mistake you learn and it gets better I prefer it so than using medicine for programs or having to worry about and being afraid of the Windows update every month Of course you will have to learn difficult things even this is even more fun than Windows .. Do not worry about using VPN they know everything about you on the internet they do not care, they do not care and anyway why do you have to be afraid? It's not about money ... You can buy the original Windows and ant-virus Is it about why you go get something that only gets worse all the time after an update? Virus has more viruses when you visit a website in a store than when you download a key generator The problem is not the guy who is sitting at the computer all day and yes that one who looks at someone's facebook for 3 minutes discovers everything and gets up from the chair and goes for a walk in the real World, I've been able to install and use everything on LINUX , including gimp is better than Photoshop and extremely good to work on, and Gimp is really very good ... Have been crazy days, but finally I am very happy with my choice .. The only thing you need is to keep your head calm and learn all over again This work is based on the music of George Harrison WAH-WAH I did it because I'm finally using Gimp on Linux you do not need to use Win10 and not even Photoshop Linux is not simple but is beter than ll that stupid Windows 10 goodbye my friends (Wah-wah) Now, I don't need no wah-wah And I know how sweet life can be If I keep myself free of (Wah-wah) I don't need no (Wah-wah) https://youtu.be/jucoFPRxaEo
vitorio
Good luck with your decision. Not too many people have the courage to do it. If I need to take such decision and with money to spend I thing I choose Apple software and buy a new computer.
aspele
ltsb 2015 from the very first moment of its launch, 3 years now approximately and no viruses, everything absolutely stable and without taking any patch of MS$, all referenced services deactivated. It is a worthy operating system (ltsb) beyond telemetry.

Microsoft has already said that Telemetry is impossible to block and remove. Yes, why do all those programs you use to block telemetry really work? Are you sure, friend? If you really block the telemetry let me tell you: How did you manage to block the damn telemetry if when you click to know if your key crap is activated with digital right is showing up and saying that the system is licensed? Oh really ? If the telemetry was blocked you would be with system without activation and system would not let you create a folder ... I'm not a hacker and it stands to reason that you do not have to be a hacker to know that. The problem with Windows 10 with or without update is that you will need to do the crap update otherwise it will give a lot of errors The coolest of all is that I had a desktop computer with the ASUS motherboard from the past few years I had to change I had blue screen every time I set up the explorer to show thumbnails and it was blue screen this is beautiful I just discovered this going to the ASUS website and you really deactivate the thumbnail and there is no more blue screen error I bought a new computer it only works with the version of Version 1607 (Anniversary Update) is cool doing the update for the above version and in that it only works let me tell you the bug the crap of the thumbnails continues with the blue screen and the The only thing I have on this new computer is a new motherboard from ASUS ... Oh really ??? Of course you all use Windows 10 Pro If you use the Home Edition guess without any reason without update I started to lose the user rights of folders and files I was the only administrator of the Windows and user and had to click on a bunch of files to have the permissions make it a backup (copy and paste) All this because they want to collect data to know which product you want to buy in the crap of the online store and how much you can pay for it and if you do not have credit card stay in peace they will not bother you just annoying you Do you really use a credit card? 1- I do not use credit card is economic stupidity 2- Do you think they do not have all your data in the normal store when you use the card? yes they have already posted a video here showing this. 3- If this happens in the physical store imagine in the virtual? Oh please, I saw a video of a Professional who used photoshop for a lifetime, this Professional is conceptualized he created and made money by doing video tutorial of photoshop for his whole life the last video of him was teaching how to use the GIMP... Dude, I'm crazy but not stupid.
aspele
Well man each one of us does in his life what he thinks is most appropriate, do not make a homeric tragedy of all this. It is clear that because of your degree of worry and paranoia the best thing is linux or maybe something without internet directly.

If you really want your security you will use a command line based version of linux where you get to configure everything manually thru config files, such as slackware. Then you can setup a gui interface such as X-windows if you want. Slackware is for advanced linux users but there is plenty of information online to set it up and without the gui it makes a great secure operating system that can be setup for specific things like kiosks and print servers. I started using it in 1999 at work just for print servers but quickly expanded its use for many other things. It was used as the base for developing SUSE. Most linux users can't get away from Windows and use the gui versions that automatically configure everything like windows does, so they gain nothing in the way of security. And just to clarify, in 2017 linux recorded 453 CVE vulnerabilities while Windows 10 had 268 CVE vulnerabilities. Still feeling safe and secure? 12stones
Oh, it's okay. I did not write that because I felt offended Much less will I be offended by everything you and all have said It's all right I did not even want to offend you. I just wrote this because it's actually true: Steve Forbes says nobody cares if Bill Gates gets richer because of tax cuts. LOL

Vdogeek
I've tried Linux for a while, I went back to windows due to the need for Office products. None of the Distro's i tried were able to allow Office to work. Although I was quite impressed with the looks of many of them, "Peppermint & Zorin 12" being my favorites. Enjoy! 12stones
Yes, I know exactly, how they watch over you, I know it does not exist: freedom, I just wonder what the damn Moral code is and what, guide these people? They are everywhere … In your: Smartphone, Microphone, keyboard, mouse, bank all the places my whole life I knew, just confirmed it … And for what reason? What guides these guys? What is the reason ? The world is over … Nothing else has value, human life is worthless … When Bill Gates asks how the mouse, keyboard work and Jobs says is enough … Is all the same SOURCE The SAME PEOPLE I know, you do not like the truth, because it's the reality, you prefer to see everything colored ... The reality is you, to know that in a certain state government, in a certain time, lost in the memory, I walked at dawn, in the center of a beautiful city ... I went out in front of a building, where a government agency, representative of the rights of the worker and see workers, sleeping on the sidewalk, in front of because they had to save money, the money of the transport and arrive at the schedule the next day in their jobs ... I still feel their pain ... A ghost story ...
