A working serial will be around soon I'm sure.

Why would there not be a solution for this version, eventually? My bet is that there will be.

Acronis TIH is supposed to be one of the best, if not the best, back up programs. It's "disk clone" wizard is very easy to use, right from within Windows (although it does reboot and actually peforms the cloning before Windows loads).

One question: Is it better than Norton Ghost 14? :(

Please Jalaffa, answer to this at least! ;)

Never used Norton Ghost. The thing about me is that I'm VERY used starting from scratch, so I know the routine without any program used. That being said - acronis has been cool at times

I believe J. said he had a purchased key for Acronis TIH 2009 which does not have the nonstop backup feature.

Anyway, although that sounds like a cool feature, it also sounds like it might cause a big hit on performance.

you will NOT want to use norton ghost...this program is the best of back up imaging software... I too am waiting for a crack file or a working serial...

The 2009 version was a wrecked (IMO). Because it contains a lot of bugs.

How is this build guys? (aside from the fact that it is HUGE!)

Albeit the aforementioned serial activates the product....we don't know for how long. We have discovered it was used to test a public beta version. You can use it anyway it does activate the product fully, but we don't know for how long really..... A pity ! In the meantime we keep on searching. God help us!!!

Maybe it is ok after all. Once activated it is activated (it will surely be blacklisted in the next build - but who cares). I find it rather unbelievable that a working serial is found posted on their site.

the "shoutbox" cut off my link. Here it is

Does anyone know whether a backup archive (.tib) created with TIH 2010 can be accessed and restored with v. 2009?

Edit: Never mind, figured it out for myself. Answer is yes.

The 2010 version available here installed fine (apparently), with the public beta serial. Does that mean this build is still a beta version? Anyway, I like the way they reorganized the layout. Doubt I will use many of the new extra features though, unless they turn out to not require much resources. Hopefully the basic features carried over from 2009 are continuing to be improved and made more reliable.
