Administrator Matt Posted October 26, 2017 Administrator Share Posted October 26, 2017 Firefox is the award winning next generation browser from Mozilla. Firefox empowers you to browse faster, more safely, and more efficiently than with any other browser. Make the switch today - Firefox imports your Favorites, settings and other information, so you have nothing to lose. Stop annoying popup ads in their tracks with Firefox's built in popup blocker. View more than one web page in a single window with this time saving feature. Open links in the background so that they're ready for viewing when you're ready to read them. Built with your security in mind, Firefox keeps your computer safe from malicious spyware by not loading harmful ActiveX controls. A comprehensive set of privacy tools keep your online activity your business. Thanks to ARMOUR and EGYGO for the update. Download

mancode20
Currently using 56, but I am wondering if it's worth upgrading to 56.0.2. What is new? Will my legacy extensions still work? I have been reluctant to upgrade to 57, cuz I know I would lose way too many extensions. A lot of them don't have Web Extensions available. I am noticing some weird jank issues is what you call it, I guess. The browser (with E10's and servo enabled) seems super fast and smooth for awhile, but eventually it slows down after prolonged usage and pages kind of jerk. It's like everything is on a couple seconds delay. I am wondering if that's cuz I turned off hardware accleration, have way too many tabs open, or it's more likely a legacy extension causing issues. Something like Tab Groups could be causing it. Is there a good Tab Groups replacement for 57 yet? I also heard something about Youtube causing issues with either 56 or 57. Let me know. Thanks! Ecarion
One summary about the news : Disable Form Autofill completely on user request Fix for video-related crashes on Windows 7 Correct detection for 64-bit GSSAPI authentication Fix for shutdown crash To resume, very often @mancode20 it's better to don't miss one update. Because mostly it will resolve bugs and security issue. And you can check them by following this adress : https://www.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/notes/ ### To give a few examples, it will redirect : # https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/55.0.3/releasenotes/ # https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/56.0.2/releasenotes/ That's right about Youtube because the issue exist... At least when you had one addon such as Umatrix (but the ads is another trouble if you don't block them) and it's visible in the mode Full Screen (F11 with Firefox). I don't use Tab Groups then I won't have any advice on this matter.
