Guest klausindeed
Some people like Winamp, others prefer iTunes, some even go as far as sticking with WMP. What do you think is the best Music player? In my opinion it is musikCube. It is a bit like iTunes in the sense that is not only a music player but a Music Library Synch as well. Unlike iTunes it uses about the same resources as Winamp but with better functionality in my opinion. Here is how the author describes it:musikCube is an mp3 player for the modern generation. It helps you just listen to what you want to hear, while offering innovative features not seen elsewhere. For the technical user, musikCube is based on an embedded SQL database engine known as sqlite. For the non technical user, that means its fast. Really fast. "Dynamic playlists" allow fully automatic, randomized playback of songs based on your observed listening habits. The more you listen, the smarter it gets. It also features browsable, user reorderable playlists. Cube also makes transferring audio between home and work very easy with it's unique support for removable storage devices. A "removable storage device" is any flash memory, thumb drive, or portable mp3 player that acts as a hard disk when you plug it in.There are a bunch of screenshots as soon as you click on the link above. As far as skinning goes I am not entirely sure but it supports XP themes.

Guest Jdawg
Win Amp is a little more complicated to use at least for my children. They dont like it much.Musicmatch jukebox is very easy to use. My six year old can easily pick her songs save it to a playlist and even burn her own disc's.for video I use PowerDVD mainly because that is what I am used to. OhMyGod
I use JetAudio, it plays all types of music and video files including avi's, quicktime and real. No codecs needed and it is free no adware/spyware. It has many nice skins to choose from. It also converts media files to other formats and has a sound recorder and a clock with a timer and a alarm. The only file it can play is bin and cue which I use VLC for that.Thanks. ;)
