London Tube blast at Parsons Green

Police say they are treating an explosion on the London Underground, which left several people injured, as a “terrorist incident”.

Emergency services, including police, medics and fire officers, were called to Parsons Green underground station at 8.20 am following reports of an explosion in a carriage on the District line.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said officers from its Counter Terrorism Command were investigating the cause of the explosion, while Deputy Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu declared it a terrorist incident.

Police confirmed they were aware of a number of people who had been injured by the explosion, but said it was too early to confirm the cause of the fire.

Prime Minister Theresa May is set to chair a meeting of the British government’s Cobra emergencies committee this afternoon to discuss the explosion.

People have been advised to to avoid the area, and services have been suspended between Edgware Road and Wimbledon.

Passengers and passersby have described scenes of panic as commuters rushed to leave the train, with some describing seeing people with burns to their faces and bodies.

Pictures reportedly taken on the train and shared on social media appear to show a plastic bag containing a white bucket on fire.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan condemned the attack.

“Our city utterly condemns the hideous individuals who attempt to use terror to harm us and destroy our way of life,” he wrote in a statement shared on Twitter. “As London has proven again and again, we will never be intimidated or defeated by terrorism.”

Khan added that he was in close contact with all emergency services responding to the incident, and would attend the COBRA meeting this afternoon.

“I urge all Londoners to remain calm and vigilant,” he added.

According to government official figures.. we have currently and this number will go up.. as the figure released is approximate 4000 known islamic terrorists living in the UK out of the 4million muslims living here.. and not all of them can be watched..

Heres the thing.. if the government KNOWs this.. and they DO, then why are they NOT acting on it.. like oh i dont know.. hunting them down.. putting then on planes with a warning that if they try to get back into the UK they will be shot, and send them back to the S**Thole called syria and i mean ALL 4000 of them.. and if there are more attacks.. then announce a nice warning on tv that any more MUSLIM attacks on this country will result in EVERY MUSLIM being deported.. whether or not they where born here, illegal or not.. peaceful or not., and then all mosques to be pulled down and after all once there are no muslims in the uk we wont need them, and /or converted into shelters for the homeless.

But no.. our government with all is PC BS, won't do whats right for the british citizen that wants to be able to travel to work, go to school etc no cause after all MUSLIMS have MORE rights than a BRITISH PERSON BORN AND RAISED HERE. otherwise its called racism..

Of course if the government prove to be completely and utterly useless (so far they are), then i guess the only other thing would be for the british people to rise up and as the law wont do a damn thing.. then i guess the british people will have to.. and that wont be a pretty sight.. guess they will be called BNP supporters.. even if they dont actually have anything to do with said group...
