12stones
revelations that will destroy your childhood In his memory, these films, drawings, games and toys looked like a child's thing. But they all kept very adult secrets 1. He-Man was created to sell Conan beached dolls In the 1980s, Mattel acquired the rights to produce dolls from the film Conan, The Barbarian. But the product ran aground: the parents found the story very violent. In order not to be prejudiced, the company invented the line of Masters of the Universe dolls, replacing Conan's head with He-Man and other characters. (That's why everyone was so pumped: Conan was played by Arnold Schwarzenegger!). The company then developed the universe of the hero, created uniforms, weapons and more characters. Then, in order to boost sales, he commissioned Filmation Studios an animation, which had 130 episodes, which ran between 1983 and 1985. 2. Squid Squid is actually an octopus SpongeBob's own creator, Stephen Hillenburg, confirmed the character's true nature. The other tentacles just were not designed to not overload their look. But one of them is there and you did not notice: in the octopuses, the central tentacle (hectolitol) acts as a reproductive apparatus. That nose may not be a nose ... 3. Barbie was inspired by an inflatable doll The first edition of Barbie, released in 1959, was based on a German erotic doll, the Bild Lilli Doll. The similarity was so much that the manufacturer Mattel had to pay damages. 4. In the original book, Pinocchio kills Talking Cricket In the work of Carlo Collodi, Pinocchio is a terrible son. He flees as soon as he learns to walk and lets Gepeto be arrested by the police, for child abuse. Falador Crador tries to warn that disobedience is dangerous, but the boy kills the insect to beat! The prediction of the Cricket is realized and the puppet gets to be hanged by a fox and cat, on the way to the theater of puppets, but it manages to survive. 5. Nintendo helped create the PlayStation In the late 1980s, Nintendo wanted to create a Super Nintendo that would spin CDs. So it made a deal with Sony, a specialist in CD players. But the partner realized that she could earn a lot of money in that area and started designing her own console under the covers, using what she learned from the Super Mario company. The SuperFamicon-CD did not leave the paper, the PlayStation yes and the hegemony of Nintendo collapsed. 6. "Ragatanga" by Rouge, is the adaptation of a 1970's rap If you were a child in the early 2000's, you probably danced and sang the verses "aserehe, ha, de," without even understanding a word (no, this is not Spanish!). But her head will fuse even when she finds out that she is a (really crazy) adaptation of "Rapper¿s Delight", a hit from the Sugarhill Gang group in 1979! "Aserejé, already", for example, was actually "I said hip hop". Watch the video of this rap classic and draw your own conclusions: 7. It was the exit of Seu Madruga that ended with Chaves The fights between Carlos Villagran (Kiko) and Roberto Bolaños (Chaves) already are famous. But the series ended not when Villagran was expelled, but when Ramon Valdés (Seu Madruga) decided to leave the show, in solidarity with his friend. Chaves resisted for another nine months, but Seu Madruga was essential: Chiquinha's father, Florinda's rival, passion of the Witch of 71, victim of Senhor Barriga and father figure of Chaves. 8. The dwarves of The Wizard of Oz were bar-heavy parties Sid Luft, the ex-husband of Judy Garland (who played Dorothy in the film), revealed in her autobiography that the Munchkins' performers were doing great parties fueled by alcohol, sex and drugs at the Culver Hotel, where the entire cast was staying during filming. He even let police down! 9. Alf, The Eminent, ended up with him imprisoned by the US government. In this popular sitcom of the 80s, a chattering alien would live with the Tanner, a typical American family. The tone was light, but the end fled to the rule: agents of the government finally arrested the extraterrestrial, separating it of the family. According to the producers, the plan was to solve that hook the following season, but the series was canceled and ended like this. 10. Cubone, from POKÉMON, uses his own mother's skull Until, for a children's game, Pokémon has some pretty macabre stories. The most frightening is that of Cubone, the creature number 104 in the Pokédex: the skull he uses as protection is his own mother! How morbid! To make matters worse, he always cries at night, and that "helmet" acts like a reverberation chamber, making the sad noise echo far.

And the swinging gave him atrocious spasms…. His breath failed him and he could say no more. He shut his eyes, opened his mouth, stretched his legs, gave a long shudder, and hung stiff and insensible.
