I noticed the same with my USB wireless mouse when using BootCD created with Rescue Media Builder, however my USB corded mouse will work.  Wireless mouse does work in Disk Director.

May be fixed in the next release since someone reported this to Support.

Can't understand why they wouldn't have the basic mouse driver that windows uses when you do an install. Going back to Win 95 I have never had to install a driver for any mouse??? Why would they omit this? It is a useless program without the mouse? Makes no sense. And who wants to install the program just to make the boot disk for your machine? The whole idea is not to install this bloatware. Using uninstall leaves remnants on computer..I don't consider that an option.

This is real bloated , even a boot-cd of this version has no mouse-driver..............:(

Will not install this buggy-crap and better wait for update of the NG-version ( 21.0.6209 ) , which is a really good Acronis-program for Win10 , never had any failures with it , backups /restoring and ............a solid working boot-cd ......:D !

based on what you said, alexxf, do you or anyone else have the winpe or winre boot disk, pls?

anyone know if Acronis has taken any notice of the post concerning the failure of the cordless mice to work with this version of ATI and if they are fixing the problem? wouldn't have thought it would be too difficult for them to correct, but then i'm no software engineer!

Tested by myself. You can create easily a WinRE-based cd. WinRE based Media does not need Windows PE to be installed

Well , I still dont get any answer on my first question ;  " Whats the difference between the NG-version ( NG=NewGeneration) 21.0.6209 or this Acronis 2018................?? "  Have to know this ,for answering  your question .

I cant find it on the Acronis-site either !

it looks like 2018 and 2017 NG is basically the same... here's a comparison between 2017 (NOT NG) and 2018 http://www.softocoupon.com/comparisons/acronis-true-image-2018-review-comparison-vs-2017-version.php

and now 2018 apparently has "active" protection or ransomware protection... or maybe they call it premium https://www.acronis.com/en-us/personal/true-image-comparison/

their site doesn't really show the options in a good way

and also here's the difference between premium and standard https://www.acronis.com/en-us/personal/buy-backup/

" now downloading the 2x parts from virge post and will try that and post back "................so I did, NO MOUSE after start of the boot-CD !!   :(

I guess you have to install the program and make your own boot-cd with it , looks like an ISO-download will not work......??

Yep, same on my machine, using cordless , so this boot-cd is no use , went back to previous boot-cd...............

dont know about anyone else but i'm wondering why Acronis hasn't put out a 'corrected' version with the support for wireless mice. it seems strange to me that they haven't and wonder if they are actually interested in getting feedback when there are issues? surely the problem with the latest version cant be that difficult to fix, can it (i dont know as i'm not a software engineer)? i would have thought it was more difficult to break the new version, considering the previous versions have all worked fine and all the needed drivers must have been in those other builds.

Those bootable ISOs is X64 would not run on x86-based processors  <_< could anyone confirm?

Nothing related to x64 should work on a x86 processor AFAIK
