Pequi
I've noticed "client_test/0.16.15.0" appearing as a "client" on some of my seeds. It does not download anything, but hangs out for hours, so I did a lookup on the IP addresses, which vary a bit. All come back the same. Registrant Name: Legal Department Registrant Organization: Amazon.com, Inc. Registrant Street: PO BOX 81226 Registrant City: Seattle Registrant State/Province: WA I'm the sole seeder of some of these old media files. I'm surprised they even care. Does this mean Amazon loves me, or what ? Should I expect chocolates or a SWAT team ? :(
Administrator DKT27 Posted July 21, 2017 Administrator Share Posted July 21, 2017 Just for the information, if you are not using any ip blocking software or a list, qBittorrent allows one to ban a particular IP from it.

I use uTorrent. I could block the whole IP range with my firewall, but since the IP varies so much I'd have to block 54.192.0.0/10, which would block roughly 4 million IPs. Examples of rogue IPs = 54.149.138.13, 54.201.177.181, 54.245.70.220 I'll have to hope it's chocolates.

All depends, are you sharing their legally owned content, if not, then no issues, but only from them.
