Karamjit
recently my Ubuntu 16.04 stopped updating. synaptic and other updating methods faild. i then googled the problem and found out that it is a DNS address problem. some people say add a line (nameserver 8.8.8.8) in a file named "resolv.conf" . but i can't open this file as admin. please suggest a wise idea... Edit: And Synaptic Package Manager Says as Below : Failed to fetch http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/xenial/InRelease
