Administrator DKT27 Posted July 21, 2017 Administrator Share Posted July 21, 2017 You guys need to stop attaching / uploading fixes to nsane.forums. Doing such is not allowed and if members will continue to do so then we might take action against the particular member. Use a file host instead. Anyway, I have removed that attachment, uploaded it to a file host, sharecoded the link and have PMed the concerned member about it. Please check now. About the fix, the AVs are calling it trojan generic / trojan patcher - which are common terms for fixes, though, I'll not vouch for it. Again I repeat, if members keep uploading fixes to nsane, we might have to mass delete all the attachments from the server here. There are many safe things which one can attach here, fixes is not one of them.

One solution, to stop this could be limiting the viewing of all forum only to logged member; and for future use https. Could be enforced the anonymz, for everything. Some forums allow or request members to attach / host fixes on their own forums rather than linking them elsewhere. So members think it's fine to do so here too. We have strict rules against doing so but some particular members do so.
