Chancer
Hi, In the UK a major ISP, BT, has a system where if you have an account with them you can access their WiFi hotspots for free. They have a mobile app which automatically logs you on when in range. I currently have an account and it works well. I am changing ISP so will lose this facility. Does anybody know if there is a way to access without a BT account, or any free login details?
J.D
Use other free WiFi hotspots eg pubs, bars, hotels or pay BT a £25 or £30 annual fee giving you countrywide and European access .

You can however turn it off. As to login - it is by using a BT account, so not hard coded into routers. Really - now why didn't I think of that...... However it doesn't answer my question.
