harmted
Its a long time since I have used Microsoft Excel 2007 but now I don't appear to be able to do anything. I have a tree files as a xlsx format. I cannot open them because of the following error: The file may be read-only, or you may be trying to access a read-only location. (I tried Microsoft Excel 2010. The same result). Any suggestions how to fix Excel files?
Sylence
Did you check whether theyre read only or not?
luisam
There might be some very different reasons for this error. i.e.: a friend got this information for saving his file by mistake using Excel 2's xls format. I'm not trying to convince you that this is the reason, just illustrating the wide possibilties to make happen this error. For a start, make a copy of it and use Excel's built-in repair function. You also might upload one of those files to upload.ee, provide the link so I might download it and test it - presuming its not some confidential information of yours.. Error0101
Do you try right click on that file and choose Properties. Check Read-only check or not?
