MediaCoder problem

It happens when I try to transcode larger videos in mediacoder (~150MB+). I could encode such videos in SUPER, so my CPU should be powerful enough to run it.

I used it yesterday, same thing. Updated today to the new version, still the same. I shut the computer down between the update.

Have you tried uninstalling.. cleaning the registry..rebooting and re-installing...

I am actually using mine right now to transcode a 800MB file with default settings so ...

I haven't ever used the wizard or changed anything..so mine is basically the average setup.

EDIT: They have a forum here. .. and I did not see anything about the problem posted..

Have you have any.. 'WEIRD' installers lately..ones that install and disappear?

Nope, haven't tried reinstalling. I haven't run the wizard or anything either. I have transcoded all my videos into H.264 format MP4 container, maybe I should try something else?

And have I tried any weird installers? Not that I can recall.

try switching container to mkv....i had a similar problem before in some earlier versions with h264 and mkv container....i switched the container to mp4 and then the problem was solved

also in the recent 2-3 versions of mediacoder the setup does not contain many codecs and plugins by default...they are downloaded while running the setup...so make sure ur internet is on while installing..

Yes, it seems to have downloaded everything. I'm currently transcoding a 35MB AVC video (.flv container) into a H.264 (.mp4 container). It will add about twice the size... Seems to go fine at the moment, but I haven't had any problems with smaller files anyway. The bigger ones give me the error.

I don't have MKV under the options.
