Description:

Rapid Leech is a free server transfer script for use on various popular upload/download sites such as megaupload.com, Rapidshare.com and more than 45 others. The famous Rapidleech script transfers files from Rapidshare, Megaupload, Depositfiles.com, Easy-share.com, etc, via your fast servers connection speed and dumps the file on your server. You may then download these files from your server anytime later.

Instruction:

  1. You need to download RapidLeech and XAMPP
  2. Install / Extract XAMPP
  3. After the installation, go to XAMPP folder and look for htdocs folder
  4. Extract RapidLeech contents to htdocs folder
  5. Run XAMPP (start Apache)
  6. Now open your browser and type: http://localhost/RapidLeech/index.php
  7. Enjoy

Miscellaneous:

  1. If you have Apache installed ignore this tutorial
  2. Why XAMPP?
    - since it's already pre-configured, you save precious time
  3. Why is my download / connection slow while using RapidLeech?
    - because you're using your own bandwidth

i have a question.I found out only the day before yesterday bout the Rapidshare hacks,so the question may seem silly.

i was searching link generators and came to know that some of them use RapidLeech to transfer files.

My question is "its written in the description that RL dumps the file on your server,and then u may download the file from ur server"

doesnt it bring the file to the desktop?what server are they talking about and how to get the file from there after its dumed?

This is what RapidLeech (RL) usually looks like:

This is where the file(s) go after you transload with RL:

You can do many things with the file(s): Upload (to other file hosting, to FTP), E-Mail, Split, Merge, Pack, Zip, Unzip, Rename, Delete

In this guide, you no longer have to download the file(s) once you have used RL.

You just need to grab the file(s) from where you have installed XAMPP (\xampplite\htdocs\RapidLeech\files\).

@DaBrain:

AFAIK, there is no way to pause the download.

If you want to stop the download, terminate Apache from XAMPP Control Panel.

@karachidude:

Read Miscellaneous #3.

It does work great. The only thing you should do is not forget to restart the computer after you install XAMPP, otherwise apache wont be started. Apache will automatically start after the restart. ;)

This is a pretty old bump lol but i have a question. It seems as if you are doing this on your normal pc correct? if i were to do it to mine does this allow me to use my full connection, 22mb, through my normal pc. As in these plugins rapidleech fake a premium membership?

Rapidleech will just automate your download from rapidshare etc. Will make you wait like a free user, automatically download the file when it's available and will give you speeds what Rapidshare, etc. normally offers to free users.

Of course, if I'm not wrong.
