HX1
Well on top of all the filtere and firewalls.. and stuff we use.. uT has an option of placing in a filter, I think you put it in the Application Data folder for the program, or it may be in Application Data in Local Settings..You have to enable/disable it in the Advanced Options for the program.. I believe the filters can be found at iBlocklist, or Bluetack...they say they are old but get updated ever so often.. and there are several other places to look for them, the updater basically goes and downloads the updated version of a list that is used.. I used it for a little while but haven't recently..

HX1
Okay are you familiar with PG2? It is basically the same thing.. The use is to block know bad connections for whatever reason.. You have to let uT through your firewall so technically most things coming in to it are not filtered unless your using something like PG2 which filters everything.. So this filter will also do the same thing.. just for the program..You firewall will catch anything else that is coming in as it has not been allowed.. and this does depend on your type of rules .. that you dictate in your firewall settings..but yeah anyway.. keeps your files form being corrupted your peers list from being screwed with and your traffic from being blocked... I have seen it help with several issues in the past.. but from PG2 mainly but I do use both because there are several protocols to cover just from the one program.. MrVoice
It references a list of "bad IP" addresses that have been determined to be a risky connection. The filter prevents those IPs from ever connecting to you.
