PotPlayer - A freeware multimedia player published by Daum. Supports almost every available video formats out there. Player contains internal codecs and there is no need to install codecs manually. Other key features include Webcam/Analog/Digital TV devices support, gapless video playback, DXVA, live broadcasting. PotPlayer is a network of Daum's players have their own independent copyright, not by the original Mr. Jiang Longxi, KMPlayer by the original author of the independent development of the follow-up. Current (1428 or later) KMPlayer by the team responsible for the collective Pandora.TV Because the development of the same developers PotPlayer into the natural KMPlayer part of the essence.

yes I have no idea wtf this key does. I asked dev and no response.

Thanks for advice of this newer release, previous version (v1.7.1150) did not totally behave itself - was a bit too buggy for my liking. Hope newer one is better...!!!

I search web, still I couldn't find PortableWares official web site :mellow:

I used to play rar video files without unpacking them but not anymore with this version can someone confirm this please.

PortableWares website was taken down late last year. Fuken (the guy who started PortableWares) left the scene shortly before his site was taken down. Dave Green was admin of his site after he left and up until the site was taken down.

 

Since then, Dave Green has joined me at my blog and posts his portables there. Some of the portables use Fuken's original code so we try to give him credit whenever it is appropriate. Some of Fuken's original installers can be downloaded on my blog as well. Fuken doesn't participate in the scene much anymore. He did release a .paf portable of Total Uninstall because he loves that program (and for good reason) plus it is a vital part of the .paf development process, using it's snapshot feature to capture installations and changes.
