If it isnt possible what do i need to do on my server so i can enter a user name and pw so i can access it plz? This is for my private home network only.

Not 100% sure but I don't think server 2012 r2 (or any other) supports homegroups. You might have to create a traditional workgroup instead.

You are using a SERVER OS.. Neyworking is done via ACTIVE DIRECTORY

There is no way to use passwordless accounts here.

Just Create the same name accounts on both server machines and client machines

You can provide the access youre talking about via Group Policy, but its not advised generally, and creating secure account is a much better option...theyre then governed by the default security policy, whereas GP requires making effectively exemptions. Never choose exemptions over a deafult secure policy. Plus its less work...
