bruinator Posted April 12, 2017 Share Posted April 12, 2017 Hi, When i tried to connect to my server 2012 r2 machine from my laptop under NETWORk, it asks for my user name and pw. Is there a way to bypass this so I can acccess without doing so? If yes, how plz? If it isnt possible what do i need to do on my server so i can enter a user name and pw so i can access it plz? debebee Posted April 13, 2017 Share Posted April 13, 2017 You are using a SERVER OS.. Neyworking is done via ACTIVE DIRECTORY There is no way to use passwordless accounts here. stylemessiah Posted April 13, 2017 Share Posted April 13, 2017 You can provide the access youre talking about via Group Policy, but its not advised generally, and creating secure account is a much better option...theyre then governed by the default security policy, whereas GP requires making effectively exemptions.
