anuraag
Shadow Defender is an easy-to-use security solution (for Windows operating systems) that protects your PC/laptop real environment against malicious activities and unwanted changes. Shadow Defender can run your system in a virtual environment called 'Shadow Mode'. 'Shadow Mode' redirects each system change to a virtual environment with no change to your real environment. If you experience malicious activities and/or unwanted changes, perform a reboot to restore your system back to its original state, as if nothing happened. With Shadow Defender, you have the flexibility to specify which files and folders are permanently saved to the real environment. This ensures important files and folders are kept after a reboot. If you want to make a maintenance-free computer, Shadow Defender will be your best choice. Thanks to Karamjit Lal for the update.Download
BioHazard
this new version seems to work with Windows 10 (1703 RS2) "Creators Update" tested on windows 10 x64 using real machine http://i.imgur.com/AEcOSxJ.png setup + ZWT keygen Site: https://www.upload.ee Sharecode[?]: /files/6892976/Shadow_Defender_1.4.0.665.rar.html

Thanks for the confirmation. Now I can finally start using/trying out shadow defender. I also use sandboxie, vmware for testing software. it sounds like Shadow defender is a very temporary thing (restarting reverts changes) while sandboxie CAN be permanent if you want it to be. mymiabear
Just now, BioHazard said: For some reason I never like sandboxie, I have always use SD and VMware Seriously? Sandboxie is probably one of the few apps I paid lifetime license for. I urge you to reconsider. It kicks SD AND Vmware's asses like you wouldn't believe. Yes there's a steep learning curve but once you spend the time to learn it most security forums agree it's the top security app Sandboxie - running rogue apps, sandboxing apps settings (example: willmaker), install pirated games inside (just delete when done ) VMWare - testing out rogue software that won't/can't run in sandboxie, install very heavily integrates apps for sandboxing (iTunes/Scansnap software, etc). Shadow Defender - ???????????????? I have SD installer here but am wondering what void it fills for me. I would only have it running on demand (not all the time). The reasoning is I am very very VERY picky when it comes to installing software. I have brutally pushed towards portable/portabilizing Here's the only apps that are installed 1Password for Windows (I wish I could make this portable, but unfortunately it's not an option apparently if you want browser integration ). Office 2016 PIA VPN client Priprinter VMWare Workstation Shadow Defender? (still testing this). 99% of the other apps are portable.

From long time, from the beginning, SD hide Edge Browser shortcuts in taskbar, and other additional such Notepad. Later during continuous working this malfunction goes permanently. Today on new Windows 10 (1703 RS2) it hide all shortcuts in start menu! The program is configured to use RAM, not SSD, so there is no HDD/SSD issue. I am talking about table, not for the menu. In "table" it left us only one shortcut! So now we have very funny Windows. I have to delete the last one shortcut and will be have only Start Menu Program Files. Just get sandboxie and create a new sandbox for each game. Sandboxie is a little confusing but it's one of the best apps on windows. My top 5 app out of everything i use. I install games just in case they are infected with something. once i'm done with game, delete You can also easily block net access to it
Togijak
@xyzdev I don't know you are able to read german? There was a member in a security forum called subbset and he wrote a good tutorial (has pictures of all important settings) that is maybe helpful Site: http://ge.tt Sharecode[?]: /5Qbxbgj2
xyzdev
I indeed can't understand german but thanks for the link anyway. I looked at some videos. Running a game through Sandboxie won't make it run slower?

mymiabear
I actually uninstalled shadow defender. i really didn't need it. I found restarting my computer to be a hindrance to my routine. between sandboxie and vmware vm (with snapshot) shadow defender doesn't fill a void honestly.
