Xilisoft HD Converter Problem

Recommended Posts

I have the latest updated and registered version of Xilisoft HD Converter. I try to convert a .mkv file to a .mpg file and it says COMPLETE after liek 40%+ or so. I try to play the movie and it only has like 46.06 minutes to the movie. I tried this on multiple different .mkvs and the same problem everytime. I checked the settings and got the same results everytime. Any ideas?

Try using a different encoder and decoder in your settings and make sure all your codecs are the latest(I'd recommend K-Lite Mega Codec Pack).

What you might also want to try is to encode it to .AVI first and then to .MPG.

Or try Aiseesoft Total Video Converter to convert .mkv.

I disagree. Stay well away from this company. :frusty:

Check here why: A bad company

OIC, its ok I guess...I use the pirate copy, so don't need customer service.

I download from torrent, so no worry about spam.

I make it portable (Thinstall), so no worry about the rest. Peace!

OJO seems to be a rip of AVS Video Converter... or it might be vise versa. Gonna use these links, thx a lot ! Realized its the new Xilisoft that gives me problems converting, possibly because its uses new core technology and it gives back a error..
