Process Lasso improves system performance, responsiveness, and stability during high loads through dynamic adjustments to process priority classes. It can also automatically terminate undesired processes, apply default priorities and CPU affinities to processes, limit the number of instances a process can have, and log all processes. It is not a task manager replacement, but does have task manager like capabilities to compliment its primary functions. Process Lasso runs on all editions of Windows 2000, XP, 2003, 2008, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 and Windows 10.

I have a giveaway key which works fine even if in the description it has been wrote that it would have worked only with the version for which was the offer.

 

Since then it worked with all 8.X versions and it seems that I am lucky and with v9.

It may if you're just installing it over a activated version.  Ive got away with it for few years  on keys before  I have a giveaway key too  and it want even activate online with the version  it came with even though they say it would this is the 4th key i had this happen after i clean install windows they want reactivate on a clean install with the version they come with i had  3 keys that were gift one year keys 2 from friends who bought lifetime keys and a 1 year key  from processlasso. . The latest key was only good for updates tell v9 came out but it  want even activate with the version it was for.

I have a legit key that I bought though. They had a giveaway for a lifetime key for $20. I hope when they offer a "lifetime" key, they mean it.

yes it will work its a lifetime key if it dont you can just email them and they will fix it.  I started using this program  before it had keys it use too be retail versions and you had to had sign in too download new versions  but everyone keys kept working after they changed it  if they ever change keys it should posted were you sign in too you're account that's  how they done it when they switch from retail .

Can anyone explain what the purpose of the app is? I  ran it for a bit but honestly don't see the point. Does it actually help with performance?

I  was looking for an app that would either notify me or block for "new" (not approved) applications. Don't think Process Lasso was able to do it.

This tool calculate and writes those values directly to the registry, to skip online activation.

• Activation check block may not be neccesary, since the program only connects with activation server during the online activation (for now, but devs may decide to change this on future releases).

In case anybody need it, here's an alternative fix to the activator. Use it only as a 'backup' solution or if you need to make a portable version and don't want to use the activator (for a permanent installation, the activator still the preferred option, since you activate the program once and then you can update without to do anything else).
